The trainees take part in maneuvers, navigation, day or night watches, and also daily tasks, including cleaning, dish washing and kitchen help.
A cook prepares lunches and dinners, even at port of calls. Help is always welcome, and breakfast is ready for self-service. We remind you that no alcoholic beverages are served with the meals. Dishwashing and meal service turns are set up upon the arrival of trainees: 2 persons for meal services and cleaning and 2 other persons for dishwashing.
The crew will help you for maneuvers and navigation. Each member of the crew has attended a merchant navy or a sailing school and is available for any questions you might have ! The watches are three hours long, whether day or night watch. It is an ideal time to learn how to navigate or to perfect your skills. You will take the helm, you will take bearings to mark the position of the boat and learn how to use the nagivating instruments : compass, GPS, radar, VHF, sounder...
