Whaleboat

A light boat pointed at both ends, used in the past for whale fishing. Today, it describes a small boat of a similar shape often carried by merchant ships.

At the association, the whaleboat is used to take groups to the island of Stagadon. The one currently in use has been fully converted by the trainees working at the shipyard. They have made and put in a deckhouse, duckboards, storage trunks and a mast.

Loup de mer

This boat is used by trainees and newcomers to navigate in the aber and to learn how to sail.
